"Another step on the education ladder for Bermuda princess.
"She is learning, albeit slowly, but going in the right direction. Some horses just take a bit longer than others to get the hang of racing. Adam (jockey) reported that she wasn’t in-love with the ground which was continually drying and had become tacky and testing. He was getting a good feeling from her 3-furlongs out and from that, he wouldn’t have thought she would have finished where she did. Lots of positives to take from today and she should definitely come on for the run!" - Simon Scupham.

It was a GREEN day for Bermuda Racing’s homebred Bermuda Princess, who had her first day at the races with a debut run over 5f at Nottingham (05.06.24).
“GREEN, in capital letters is the best way to describe Bermuda Princess’s first run at Nottingham today. She looked great, behaved impeccably and broke well. Unfortunately, drawn wide she broke away from the field and was totally disengaged from then on, fly leaping and jumping every ridge including the finish line. As a result she had no race at all so we will reload and fire again in the near future. She is a talented filly who ran one of the fastest times at the Doncaster Breeze Ups so we are looking forward to seeing her develop.” - Simon Scupham

Naming History
The naming of Bermuda Princess derives from her Mother and Father. Her sire Kingman is a 'King', standing at Juddmonte Farms' Banstead Manor in Newmarket. Kingman was a brilliant Classic-winning miler and now producer, having recently sired the 1,000 Guineas winner Elmalka in 2024.
Bermuda Princess is a proud Bermuda Racing-homebred, being out of our very own 'Queen' - Queen Of Bermuda.
