Another huge race from Flora Of Bermuda

As her two-year-old season draws to a close, Flora Of Bermuda has left us with plenty to whet the appetite for her three-year-old campaign.

Slowly away at Newmarket on Friday (13th October 2023), little went right for Flora in-running, but under Oisin Murphy this special filly toughed it out and put in another high-class performance to finish fourth in the Gr.3 Cornwallis Stakes.

“Once again Flora did not get the rub of the green. The worst of draws, very slow away and stopped in the final stages with Rosario coming right across her. She has had a long year so she will now have a deserved holiday and we can all look forward to an exciting campaign next year!” - Simon Scupham

Trained by Andrew Balding, Flora has provided us with many highlights this season. Her two-year-old win over 5f at Glorious Goodwood is a memory to savour, as well as taking the Bermuda Racing team to the Royal Ascot stage in the Gr.2 Queen Mary, and gaining her all-important black-type with an incredible run in the Gr.2 Flying Childers at Doncaster.

Roll on 2024 - we can’t wait to see her make her three-year-old debut!
