Flora Of Bermuda joins Group 1 field in Sprint Cup

It’s an exciting week ahead for our three-year-old filly Flora Of Bermuda.

Flora Of Bermuda will take her spot again in Group 1 company, this time at Haydock as she has been supplemented for Saturday's Betfair Sprint Cup.

With 22 runners lined up in the top-class field, including five Group 1 winners, this is a seriously competitive renewal of the Sprint Cup. Haydock’s calendar sprint feature, this will be a thrilling dash on Saturday which will see Flora Of Bermuda return to 6-furlongs, the trip which suited her when she won the Gr.3 Summer Stakes at York in July.

A race that has seen Sprint stars Quiet Reflection, Harry Angel The Tin Man, Minzaal etc., come home with this Group 1 trophy. Bermuda Racing's Simon Scupham gives his thoughts:

“We are so excited to announce that we have supplemented Flora Of Bermuda for Saturday’s Sprint Cup at Haydock. She deserves her place in the field of this iconic race, coming off her recent 4th in the Group 1 Prix Maurice De Gheest (where she was the best of the British contingent) in early August, following her impressive Group 3 William Hill Summer Stakes win at York in July. She has been working extremely well at home and all associated with her expect that she will give another good account good account of herself.”

Roll on Saturday!
